ECE3007 Practice in Partnership Report
Through this section you will be able to demonstrate your level as a graduate teacher against each of the Australian Professional Standards of Teaching (APST).
For each of the seven standards you will repeat the following steps:
1. Take a blank page and type the domain (e.g. Professional
knowledge), the standard (e.g. Standard 1: Know the children and how they learn) and the chosen indicators (e.g. 1.1..., 1.3.... 1.4....).
2. Write approximately half a page narrative about a) your progress in achieving this standard since you started the course b) the importance of the standard to your teaching profession. Refer to theory, research and/or literature
3. Display 2 to 3 artefacts that provide strong evidence for achieving the standard. Evidence should emerge from your recent practice and it should not be your mentors.
4. Write one paragraph creating strong links between the evidence provided and the standard by explaining how each of the artefacts demonstrate your achievement of the standard.
5. Repeat the above steps for all seven standards

The creation of different crafts related to diverse cultures, different cultural dances as well as art forms can be considered in this regard. Additionally, it is also stated from the study of Jones et al. (2020) that diverse as well as inclusive culture are portrayed through the dance, crafts and art forms. It is needed to value the diversity and also inclusivity.

Professional training is required in this context. For this reason, the staff of the school should be well trained to promote diversity along with inclusivity. It is needed to be adaptive to the environment of the diversity. The participation is essential for the staff (APST, 2024). The standard 1.6 of APST helps to describe the importance of identification of the diversity. It is necessary to recognise the diverse needs of the learning for the students. For this reason, adequate training for the staff and supporting approach from them is essential.
